Compatibility-guarantee
We back every server RAM module we sell with a no-hassle compatibility promise. If your modules don't post, train, or run stably in your server or workstation, we'll take them back.
14-Day Compatibility Returns
If you hit a compatibility issue with your motherboard, CPU, or BIOS, return the modules within 14 days for a full refund or exchange. Original packaging not required. We know server RAM ships sealed and gets installed straight into the rack.
2-Year Warranty
Every module is covered by a 2-year return-to-base warranty against manufacturing defects. If a stick fails or throws ECC errors during normal use, we'll replace it. All modules are tested before dispatch and shipped in sealed anti-static packaging.
About motherboard QVL lists
A common misconception: if a memory module isn't on your motherboard's QVL (Qualified Vendor List), people assume it won't work. That isn't what a QVL is.
A QVL only tells you which kits the motherboard manufacturer happened to test in their lab. They can't test every module on the market, so the list is far from exhaustive. Memory not on the QVL is very often fully compatible. In our experience this is the case more often than not, especially with mainstream modules from Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.
If you're unsure, send us your motherboard model and CPU before you order and we'll give you a straight answer based on what we've seen run in the field.
Ethernet
Selecting the appropriate Ethernet speed ensures optimal network performance tailored to your specific needs. By default, the motherboards featured in our SFF systems include a native 2.5Gb Ethernet port, suitable for everyday tasks, gaming, streaming, and general productivity.
For more demanding networking tasks, such as transferring large files, high-resolution content editing, or managing extensive data workloads, consider adding a 10Gb Ethernet port. This upgrade option is provided in addition to the motherboard’s built-in 2.5Gb port, enhancing your connectivity with higher throughput and significantly faster data transfer rates.
Evaluate your networking requirements to determine the Ethernet solution that best complements your workflow and ensures optimal system efficiency.
Extensions
Extensions are professional-grade add-on cards that expand your build's connectivity beyond what's built into the motherboard. Most setups don't need them. For pro workflows that demand high-bandwidth networking or specialised I/O, this is how you add it.
Ethernet (RJ45)
Adds copper-cabled Ethernet ports for faster wired connections than the onboard adapter provides. The right choice for a network that runs over standard Cat6 or Cat6a cabling.
Fibre / DAC
SFP and QSFP cards plug into fibre or short-run direct-attach cables, scaling speeds from 10G up to 100G. The right path for connecting to a data center switch, NAS or high-bandwidth uplink.
Pick what your existing network already requires. RJ45 if your switch and cabling are copper, SFP family if you're plugging into a fibre uplink.
Graphics
The graphics card, or GPU, is a crucial component in any build, as it is responsible for rendering images, animations, and video on your screen. The GPU significantly impacts the performance and overall experience of demanding applications, catering to gamers, content creators, and professionals working with various workloads.
Compute Performance
Select a GPU with the appropriate level of compute performance to meet your needs, as this directly impacts the speed and efficiency of tasks like gaming, content creation, and other demanding applications. Compute performance is typically measured in teraflops (TFLOPS) and can be found in the GPU specifications.
Memory Capacity & Speed
Consider the memory size and speed of your chosen GPU, as these factors significantly impact performance in resource-intensive applications. For gaming, a sufficient memory capacity is essential for handling high-resolution textures and maintaining smooth gameplay. In AI and machine learning tasks, a larger memory capacity enables faster processing of extensive data sets and improved training times.
Ray Tracing and AI-Accelerated Gaming
Select a GPU that supports advanced technologies like ray tracing, which simulates realistic light behaviour in virtual environments, and AI-accelerated gaming technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and AMD's FidelityFX. These features enhance graphics quality while maintaining high performance, providing a more immersive visual experience.
